Keep Your Environment Clean Live able

Social welfare Institute, JBY Awardee-2018, organized a half day long program to encourage the students
with special needs for keeping their environment clean and live able. The teachers, staff, volunteers,
students and their parents of Mymensingh Welfare School directed by Social Welfare Institute,
Mymensingh (Govt. Reg: M-02047) were invited in the program. Students and teachers were participated
in the project demonstration work for building awareness to the environment like stop the use of
polythene during daily shopping, stop deforestation, practicing tree plantation, practicing seedling gift
culture in the birthday and wedding program. Some of the students were participated in the art
competition program. All of the teachers were participated in the essay competition. Then a thematic
discussion session was arranged for the parents, teachers, staff and some selected students with special
needs. A total of 81 participants were attend in the program among them 52 were female and 29 were
male. Hope we reached 400 people indirectly through this program.
